Departure from A Coruna towards Guitiriz, where you will stop to admire the ancient thermal village. Enjoy a walk down to the spot called ?Sete muinos?, situated in the banks of the river Ladroil.
Next stop is Lugo, a medieval town which was the capital of the Roman Galicia. Enjoy a walking tour along the historic old city and its Roman wall built in the 3rd century and is listed as World Heritage by UNESCO. Take a visit to the Romanesque cathedral and to the Provincial Museum of Lugo where you can see many remains from the Roman and Medieval times.
You will have some free time for tasting tapas and you will also enjoy the famous cooking of Lugo.
On the way to the Castle of Narla, you will pass by many small villages with traditional buildings made in slate and granite stone and surrounded by typical cultures and forests of this region. You will visit the castle which dates from the 15th century and is exceptionally well preserved. It houses a very interesting ethnographical museum of the area.
You last stop is at Monastery Sobrado Dos Monxes. This monastery is situated in a luxuriant spot on the North Way to St James. It was founded by the count Hermenegildo in the 10th century and it joined the Cistercian order in the 12th century.
